The world will have a significant increase of energy supply in the next 20 years, cleanly-generated electricity in particular, the most environmental-friendly energy, which accelerates the rate of nuclear power development. There are 438 nuclear reactors operating in the world and 52 units listed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as "under construction" in 12 of the 31 countries which have nuclear power plants. After a 30-year period in which no new reactor was built, America's Department of Energy is working to restart the nuclear industry to meet energy and climate challenges.
