June 14-15, 2018 · Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel, China

Duxes held the 7th China Vehicle Insurance Summit 2018 on June 14-15 in Shanghai. The summit gathered speakers, delegates, and panelists, representing leading insurers, trade associations, technology companies, and online platforms, to explore the Chinese market, and exchange ideas on future paradigms for vehicle insurance. The summit was part of Duxes’ annual Auto Aftermarket Week, an annual platform for the exchange of knowledge between auto industry professionals from China and around the world.

The two-day event explored new technological paradigms that are driving rapid change in the auto insurance market, including big data, autonomous vehicles, and innovations to claims settlement enabled by artificial intelligence and digital platforms. Other content addressed opportunities for small-to-mid-sized insurers, development trends, and the used vehicle insurance market, with testimony from trade associations and prominent insurers in China. The summit also featured analysis of China’s Third Round of Vehicle Insurance Premium Rate Reforms, with expert speakers detailing the implications for auto OEMs and other enterprises.

For nearly a decade, Duxes has helped facilitate innovation in the auto and insurance industries, by bringing together professionals engaged in pioneering work, and creating interactive platforms that pool knowledge and experience from diverse sources. The 7th China Vehicle Insurance Summit 2018 built on this legacy, paving the way for further innovation in the flourishing Chinese auto insurance market.
