5th China Telematics and Connected Vehicles Summit 2018

Duxes hosted the 5th China Telematics and Connected Vehicles Summit 2018 on May 23-24 in Beijing. The event brought together industry leaders, technical experts, and policymakers to share their thoughts on developments related to telematics and connected vehicles, and offered a unique opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with future transportation paradigms in the world’s largest automotive market.

The two-day summit covered a diverse range of topics, featuring speakers and panelists at the forefront of the industry. The first day addressed innovation in telematics, with input from OEMs, information service providers, and telecom operators on smart mobility solutions, the effects of big data on telematics, intelligent connectivity, and 5G’s potential impact on autonomous driving. Panel discussions detailed improvements to in-car infotainment, and the effects of telematics on auto insurance. The final day proceeded to cover the status of telematics in the United States, optimal fleet management strategies, C-V2X technology and autonomous vehicles, smartphone-based car connectivity solutions, as well as other topics.
