Pakistan's Insurance Industry at a Crossroads

After graduating from Imperial College London with a degree in Applied Business Management, Zain Qureshi returned to Pakistan in 2008 and joined Asia Insurance, where he is the Executive Director. Over the past eight years, he has changed the course of the investment activity of the company, turning away from an ultra-conservative approach to optimise for lower tax and higher returns. Through work on organizational development, he overhauled the management structure of the company, allowing flexibility in absorbing new personnel while the company has increased revenue by 10 times from 2012-2016. On the sales side, he looks at special projects and development of the company's product offering.
