Thomas Liang

Vice President, China Crane Sales, Manitowoc

A graduate of the Peking University and later the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Thomas Liang began his career in the off-highway vehicle industry 25 years ago. During this time, he was chosen to be the chief representative for the German enterprise Wirtgen which was involved in the international paving industry.

Liang went on to work for Caterpillar for 7 years until the company's Chinese enterprise underwent a 'chaotic' structural change. It was during this time that he took on his current position at Manitowoc. In addition to his professional successes, Thomas has been a Guest Professor of the MBA school of Sichuan University.
