Joy Chen obtained a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the US and became deeply interested in disease treatment. Whilst she evaluates market authorization and crafts regulatory strategies, she describes herself as being continually amazed by the process of new

drug development and the tremendous work that goes into to innovating products. She knew it was her calling to join a pharmaceuticals company and to be part of that innovation process so that she could take part in these products that help patients in need.

Chen says it is her dream to help Asia carve out its unique identify in the global forum and be a leader in the pharmaceuticals sector.
