Duxes hosted the Dairy International Summit 2017 on October 26-27 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The summit gathered professionals from across the international dairy industry, representing major producers, and industry associations, to exchange knowledge on regional markets, product trends, technological innovation, cutting-edge production and food science, as well as other important developments.

The event’s opening day featured presentations on major dairy markets around the world, with testimony on trade policy in the EU and characteristics of Chinese consumers, and changing global demand. Management at leading international dairy companies also addressed light protective technology, infant nutrition, sustainable production, and farm management. The final day proceeded to cover vital know-how on cross-border cooperation, the status of the EU market, food powder blends, and trends in dairy packaging. Further content addressed waste management systems, and the potential for donkey milk in infant nutrition.

The Dairy International Summit 2017 expanded the scope of Duxes’ decade-long dairy event series, to cover international markets outside of China and the Asia Pacific region. The event concluded as a resounding success, characterized by detailed, thought-provoking discussion of leading issues in international dairy, and participation from leading companies and institutions.
